At Yearly Co, I have been retained for a myriad of reasons.  To kick off  the partnership, I performed a full audit of their product line, competitive marketplace positioning, launch process, design process, product development process, costing and SKU organization and made recommendations based on my findings.  Being a start up that had grown very quickly and efficiently, there were many areas for me to dive into.  They were lacking some systems that would allow them to continue to grow and protect their business long term.  In the first few months I set up a robust costing system, as well as began to strategize a SKU system that would work with their unique business and eventually implemented them both company wide.  I re-established sources for many products for savings of up to 50% or more in some cases.  I worked collaboratively with almost every department at some point - Operations, Fulfillment, Production, Marketing and Retail.  Once we got some of the basic systems in place, then I dove into the product line with their CEO / Creative Director.  We made a year long design / development / launch plan and implemented Airtable for tracking and planning company-wide.   To date, Yearly has launched over 40 products designed and / or developed by  CKD Design Studio.  A major goal of mine was to give them a branded collection, with design aspects unique to the brand and to begin to become recognizable and iconic in their own way.
